About Theory Test UAE

Independent driving theory practice built around clear explanations and official source links.

Theory Test UAE helps learner drivers study road rules and practise decisions before a driving knowledge test. It is an independent education website, not a government, police or licensing authority.

What you can do here

Choose your emirate, select the vehicle category for your application and work through practice questions with explanations. Car and motorcycle practice sets include 25-question revision sessions. More vehicle categories and languages need their own reviewed learning material.

How the questions are prepared

Questions are written as everyday road situations. Each has four choices, one marked answer, an explanation and a link to an official RTA handbook for the Dubai vehicle category. The aim is to understand the rule and hazard behind an answer. Practice questions are not copied from the official test, and a score here does not predict or certify a pass.

Check current requirements

Licensing, training, test appointments and fees can change. Your own licensing authority and registered driving institute are the sources for the current process. Our Dubai guide and other emirate guides direct you to those channels; they do not accept bookings or payments. If current official instructions differ from a page here, follow the official instructions.

Study in a useful order

Read the official handbook for your category. Practise one topic, review every explanation and return to the handbook when an answer surprises you. When you are comfortable with the individual topics, try a mixed test. Keep a list of situations you are unsure about and ask your instructor to explain them using the latest training material.
